Alcohol, sex and rowdy loud music in Las Vegas? What a bizarre concept.

Coyote Ugly has thrived off that potent combination for more than two decades in New York City. After inspiring a borderline hit film (released in 2000) starring Piper Perabo, Adam Garcia and Maria Bello, the saloon boosted its name recognition enough for the boot-scootin’ Coyote Girls to take their act on the road. Vegas was a natural fit, as was the city’s own slice of the Big Apple, the New York New York resort.

Inside a surprisingly small space on the mezzanine level, once occupied by a quiet cigar lounge, the tight t-shirt-clad gals dispense sexy Southern hospitality with their Jack Daniels shots. Misbehavior is encouraged, as long as no laws are broken.

In true honky tonk style, the place looked old and lived-in at its grand opening. Corrugated tin, old license plates, scratchy hardwood floors, and a bra stretched over an elk’s head constitute the decor. The two bars are extra-wide to accommodate the dancing barmaids, and if the lack of square footage on the floor forces customers closer together, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Happy hour is 6-9PM, and features $4 drafts, 2 for 1 drinks and 2 for 1 Corzo Tequila. Admission is free every day before 9PM.
